Piece of Movie History
This is a superb piece of wall art collectable I
have seen produced for Starwars in quite a while. It features a Twenty Years of
Starwars logo (1977 - 1997), and is copyrighted 1997 Lucasfilm Ltd.
The items bears the mark "Authenticated by
Frank J. Walsh". It is No. 436 of a Limited range of just 1000 24K Gold
Collectors Cards. They are truly stunning and although they look good on the
photo's it is obvious the pictures do not do them justice.
Below is a plot sequence that appears on the
certificate of Authenticity:
"During the battle featured above the Sarlacc
Pit on tatooine, the dangerous Boba Fett ignites his jet pack, leaps into the
air and flies from Jabba's sail barge down to the prisoner skiff. As Fett lands
on the skiff he starts to take aim at Luke, but before he can fire, the young
Jedi spins around and with his lightsaber hacks the bounty hunter's blaster in
half."
This unique, 24K Gold card is one of a five card
set produced to commemorate key scenes from Return
of the Jedi. It has been engraved with
its own limited edition number and is accompanied by a certificate of
Authenticity.
The original purchase price for this unique item
was £400. A collectors item such as this will not lose its value and is
more likely to gain substantially since the creation of a further 3 feature
films since it was made.
